Engage in developmental activities with your children, and ask questions of our staff – specialized professionals will be available to answer questions and connect families to additional supports. Focus is on young children ages 0-6 with social-emotional or developmental concerns. Art, sensory and other activities designed to address developmental milestones and enhance caregiver/child relationships will be provided. Covid safe environment
Pre-scissor Skills and Introducing Scissors to Toddlers
Did you know that 2 year olds should be able to snip paper using scissors and by age 3 they should be able to cut through a half sheet of paper? “Wait, what?!!!” - you say. Does the thought of teaching your toddler to use scissors strike fear in your heart? Come to our playgroup and learn about the skills needed to learn to cut and how to safely introduce scissors to your child. We will have fun activities for all ages and abilities (0-5 yrs) to get those little hands ready for scissors
