On Friday, June 26, 2020, Conjunto Preschool hosted drive-thru graduation for four-year-olds leaving the preschool to move up to kindergarten in the Fall. Teachers and staff greeted students and their families with cheers and tambourines. Students were passed their graduation certificates through vehicle windows.
“Although we were all so happy to see all their little smiling faces, it was still a sad moment for all of us. Of course, we wish we would have had the opportunity to give hugs and socialize a little more, but due to the new changes that we are all trying to very hard to get used to, we knew that was not possible, not right now.” said Johnna Aguino, Conjunto Therapeutic Preschool Director “Before families drove off, they shared their appreciation and gave thanks to our staff and program, one mother became emotional…..Overall, it was a very beautiful day. Bittersweet.”
