Las Cumbres is happy to bring on Ramon Iturralde to the Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Early Intervention team. Ramon accepted the position of Family Service Coordinator/ Developmental Specialist II in December of 2019. Ramon will be training and shadowing current FIT clinicians in Santa Fe. “I am looking forward to the accomplishments that this job will bring.” said Ramon. “So far I have learned the importance of coaching and how to communicate with parents regarding the child’s development and behaviors that may be desired.”
Ramon also helps his father with his construction company in Santa Fe doing purchases and transportation related and administrative work. Outside of work, he plays soccer, enjoys watching The Simpsons, playing guitar and doing his part in sharing memes with the world. Ramon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from New Mexico State University. “My focus as an undergrad was sensory and information systems of the brain, involving memory, emotions and cognition.”
If Ramon had one super power, he would lose the car and teleport everywhere. Ramon states “I look forward to working with the Las Cumbres and hope growing my understanding of the development of children.”
We are thrilled to have Ramon working with families and growing his skills with Las Cumbres Community Services.
