General Operating Support is the "holy grail" of nonprofit support. Unlike project-specific donations, it provides invaluable flexibility to approach our mission dynamically, responding to the ever-changing needs of our community in real time. Like any successful business, nonprofits require ongoing duties to maintain good financial standing, along with essential business functions. Operations funding ensures that direct service staff can focus on making a positive impact on families while administration staff provide crucial behind-the-scenes support.
